This is already cause for alarm.
“The Quezon City Health Department (QCHD) reported that dengue cases in the city slightly increased, as four deaths were recorded and cases rose to 599 in July compared to 479 in June,” reports Chito Chavez in Manila Bulletin.
Health officials said the increase of dengue cases may have been due to the continuous rains.
QCHD said that the fourth district had the highest number of dengue cases with 131.
However, it was noted that dengue cases this year are still lower compared to those recorded in 2013.
