Any business owner would tell you that branding is important but this deathcare service provider took it up a notch by giving away USB flash drives shaped like caskets. We are not joking; it even comes in classic white and hot pink.

Facebook user Allen Jed Borromeo shared a photo of St. Peter Life Plan’s creative flash drives yesterday.

He wrote in Filipino: “You guys are no match for the creativity of St. Peter. Free USB(s) if you guys get buried using their services.”

St. Peter is a company that offers burial plans for people who think ahead and want to plan for their death.

Borromeo even suggested a tagline for the freebie: “Die now, save your files later.”

Borromeo told Coconuts Manila through a Facebook message that his aunt is an agent for St. Peter, which is how he saw the USBs. He shared that the USBs were just launched as freebies given to those who will avail of the company’s services.

“[I] saw it as a funny and unique thing,” Borromeo said. “Personalized USBs are not new to us but why [is it that] nobody has ever think (sic) of this kind of design?”

His Facebook post had over 1,900 likes and 2,000 shares as of this article’s posting.

Borromeo had one more marketing tagline for the company: “You guys might want [a life plan]. You can PM my aunt for more info. Your files are secured, and so is your death.”

Commenter John Newel Reyes quipped: “In loving memory of 4gb.”

Kasper Chua tagged his friends and said: “HAHAHAHAHAHAHA SORRY, ST. PETER STEPPING UP THEIR GAME HAHAHAHA”

Winj Turgo told a friend: “Your flash drive is missing right haha”

Romeo Geronimo tagged a friend and wrote: “Do you like the pink one? I’ll have them bury you if yes. Hahaha”

Safe to say everyone loved the flash drives to death.
