Before you criticize people for their so-called “bad English,” make sure you’re not being nasty to a person with a disability.
Just recently, a deaf student named Mininio Buhat became the target of cuyberbullies for posting a status update that struck them as “ungrammatical.”
They shared buhat’s post and made derogatory comments.
“This earned the ire of fil direcor Mike Sandejas, who realized that Buhat was deaf,” reports News5.
Sandejas, it turned, recognized the “writing pattern” used by Buhat. He had experience with deaf students before.
Sandejas asked, “If you want to be a Grammar Nazi, why don’t you just send (the person) a private message?”
