This is the fault of a careless driver.

“A woman named Shirley Rabusa was on her way to a market in Alabang at around 5:10 a.m. on Thursday, April 9, when a car hit the rear end of a jeepney she was about to board,” reports Dexter Ganibe on ABS-CBNnews.com.

Rabusa — who worked as a cook for a family in South Bay, Parañaque — died in the collision. One of her legs had also been severed in the mishap.

The report noted: “The car driver, 25-year old Jose Emmanuel Ranola, admitted that he fell asleep while driving. He will be charged with reckless imprudence resulting in homicide.”
