Are there dead bodies turning up all over the metro?
“A dead man, whose head and feet were covered with garbage bags, was discovered by guards of the University of the Philippines Diliman near the building of the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) along C.P. Garcia Avenue at around 5am on Saturday, Jan 25,” reports ABS-CBNnews.com.
The guards reported their grisly discover to the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) Station 9. The dead man is believed to be a victim of summary execution.
The victim was wearing a yellow long-sleeves shirt and black shorts. His hands and feet were tied with a packaging tape. His body had tattoo marks spelling the following words: “Rey,” “Reynaldo,” and “Batang City Jail.” He bore five wounds from what appeared to be an ice pick.
Right beside the man’s body was a cardboard with these words written on it: “Akyat bahay ako, wag tularan.”
