Dead man in a drum found in Caloocan City

Are we walking in the killing fields?

“Police recently found he body of an unidentified man was found stuffed in a drum along Tanigue street in Caloocan City,” reports Rey Galupo in The Philippine Star.

The reprot quoted Barangay 14 chairman Alex Mangasar, who described the victim as “around 5’3” tall, clad in a white shirt and denim shorts, and bearing several tattoos, including that of the jailhouse Sigue-Sigue Sputnik gang.”

The dead man’s body bore signs of torture. He had also been hogtied.
