Department of Justice (DOJ) Secretary Leila de Lima on Thu, Sep 10, reiterated that she has no plans of running for vice president in the 2016 elections.
De Lima maintained that she is not yet ready for the country’s second highest post and that no one has offered her to run for vice president.
“I honestly feel I am not ready for anything higher than a senatorial [post],” she said. “Walang offer, no to VP post.”
De Lima, however, still did not categorically say that she will run for the Senate next year.
