Almost every Pinoy has heard David Pomeranz’s prom night ditties “Got To Believe in Magic” and “King And Queen Of Hearts.”
This time around the Grammy-winning singer-songwriter will hold a free concert at the Rizal Park Open Air Auditorium at 7 pm, Friday, Dec 6, to raise funds for the victims of Typhoon Yolanda. Pomeranz waived his talent fee for the event.
“While there’s no charge for admission, those who are going to the concert are encouraged to donate cash or other items that can be used by Yolanda victims,” reports Monch Mikko E. Misagal in the Manila Bulletin. Donation boxes will be placed around the concert venue.
The event is sponsored by the National Parks Development Committee (NPDC) in cooperation with the Department of Tourism.
