Dargani hit and run case was not dismissed

Makati Chief Prosecutor Feliciano Aspi clarified that the charges against Filipino-Indian businessman Rajiv Ramesh Dargani were not dismissed, rather they were considered “withdrawn” after the victims submitted affidavits of desistance.

Aspi explained that  the affidavits of desistance were made by the victims Glenn Nacion and the relatives of Henrix Berbardo, whom Dargani was said to have killed. Dargani, a prominent businessman,  is the president of Sunglass Hut Philippines, a distributor of high end sunglasses. He figured in a hit-and-run incident along McKinley Road in Barangay Forbes Park on April 20, the Philippine Star reported.
