Crime face off: Quezon City vs Caloocan

Today: Bang, bang. My best friend shot me down.

VICTIM # 1: KENNETH PAULE, 38
Scene of the crime: Bahay Toro, Quezon City
The incident: GMA Network cameraman Kenneth Paule was hanging out with his friend Emard Ulanday near his place at Barangay Toro one evening. For some reason, Paule was said to be carrying a shotgun and panicked when he saw a police patrol car coming their way. Ulanday claimed that his friend was trying to hand the firearm to him when it went off, hitting Paule. He asks neighbors to help bring his best bud to the hospital, but disappears. The GMA camera man dies instantly and his Judas of a friend was turned in to the cops by witnesses.
WTH dude: Your story has more holes than Swiss cheese. Reports said your friend died of gunshot wounds to the back. How can that be an “accident”?

VERSUS

VICTIM # 2: ERIC ALVAREZ, 29
Scene of the crime: Maysilo, Caloocan City
The incident: Buddies Rodynel Mesias, a security guard, was goofing around with construction foreman Eric Alvarez. Alvarez was doing some cleaning and playfully splashed water on Mesias. The guard drew his .38 cal revolver and aimed at the foreman’s foot. He reasons out that the gun went off by accident. Alvarez surrenders to the cops voluntarily while his friend is being treated at Manila Central University Hospital.
WTH dude: Doesn’t your gun come with a safety lock to prevent such “accidents” from happening?
