Today: Two amateur thieves steal public utility vehicles and use them to pick up passengers
SUSPECT #1: JM TORRIBIO
Scene of the crime: Novaliches, Quezon City
The incident: An 18 year old is arrested after being seen driving a stolen public utility jeepney, that belonged to one Donato de Guzman. A few hours after it is reported missing in Maysan, Valenzuela, another jeepney driver sees the young JM Torribio driving the stolen vehicle and reports him to the QC police.
WTF dude: What the hell are you doing picking up passengers with a stolen vehicle?
VERSUS
SUSPECT #2: JOMAR PARADA
Scene of the crime: Caloocan City
The incident: A 21 year old man is arrested for stealing a parked tricycle owned by George Bustamante, 41. The tricycle was reported missing at 5:30pm. Three hours later, police spot the suspect, Jomar Parada, driving around Libis Espina Street on board the hot vehicle and flag him down. He stops for them and gets booked at the local precinct.
WTF dude: When you’re driving a stolen vehicle, you NEVER stop for the police.
