A five-legged cow has become quite an atttraction in Cagayan De Oro City in northern Mindanao.
“According to its owner Juby Galorport, the cow was born with five legs last August 28,” reports Joey Yecyec on ABS-CBN News Online.
Agriculturist Dr. Perla Asis explained that the cow “exhibited some gene abnormalities resulting from the inbreeding of animals from the same bloodline.”
In any case, it’s worth noting that the cow’s fifth leg (as seen in the photo) isn’t really of any use except as a curious attraction.
