She’s not getting out anytime soon.
“According to Justice Secretary Leila de Lima, a Makati court has junked alleged pork barrel scam mastermind Janet Lim Napoles’ bail petition,” reports GMA News Online.
“(Her) petition for bail in the serious illegal detention case has been denied by Judge Elmo Alameda in an order issued today,” explained De Lima.
That said, it looks like Napoles will be spending Christmas in her detention cell in Fort Sto. Domingo in Santa Rosa, Laguna. She’s already lucky that she isn’t incarcerated in an ordinary jail just like other people facing charges.
