The scene must have looked bad.
“A couple died after their owner-type jeep crashed into a wall on Shaw Boulevard, Mandaluyong on Sunday morning, August 17,” reports ABS-CBNnews.com.
The couple also had their two children with them. The kids survived the crash and are still being treated for their injuries.
The report further noted: “According to the Mandaluyong Traffic Police, the vehicle, with license plate number DNZ-247, was traversing the westbound lane of Shaw Boulevard when its brakes malfunctioned, causing it to cross over to the opposite lane.”
The jeep then rammed another vehicle before crashing into the wall of Lee Tower in Barangay Addition Hills.
The victims were identified as Rocambuli and Lilibeth Rabong, died Sunday afternoon while they were being treated at the hospital.
