It’s still quite a long time.
“On Tuesday, June 17, Communications Secretary Sonny Coloma said that President Noynoy Aquino would rather focus on the 743 days left in his term instead of the 2016 elections,” reports ABS-CBNnews.com.
Coloma stated that Aquino “did not sanction the privileged speech of Congressman Edgar Erice, which called for the resignation of Vice President Jejomar Binay from the Cabinet due to his alleged disloyalty.”
Coloma pointed out that “Aquino and Binay have a very cordial relationship.”
“We have to make a distinction between what a member of Congress says while availing of privilege speech and the President. There’s really a clear distinction,” Coloma said.
That may be so, but not a lot of people will buy this.
