Councilor wants to name QC school after FPJ

Wouldn’t it be cool to go to this school?

“Quezon City 2nd District councilor Precious Hipolito-Castelo has proposed the renaming of an elementary school in Payatas after the late National Artist for Film Fernando Poe Jr.,” reports Janvic Mateo in The Philippine Star.

In her proposed ordinance, Hipolito-Castelo, who is also a former actress, said “it is time that the Payatas B Elementary School Annex be officially separated from its mother school, and be renamed Fernando Poe Jr. Elementary School.”

The elementary school currently has over 1,266 students and has been operating as a separate school for 12 years.
