Former Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) import Jamelle Cornley has plead “not guilty” to charges of direct assault and alarm and scandal stemming from an incident in Quezon City on March 27.
According to GMA News, Cornley appeared before the Quezon City Regional Trial Court on Tuesday morning and entered his plea. The cager also apologized to his family “for all the hurt. He however, did not apologize to PO2 Anselmo Lazatin, the police officer he allegedly hit.
He was arrested for causing a scandal when he claimed that he had lost his wallet.
