Cop trying to stop car thieves get shot

We wonder where do these people get the courage to steal.

“A MEMBER of the Manila Police District (MPD) was wounded while responding to a carnapping incident in Tondo, Manila early Wednesday morning,” reports Itchie Cabayan on People’s Journal.

Police said Senior Insp. William Santos was shot in his right thigh when he and a couple of his officers responded to an incident. The team received a report of an ongoing car theft along Masangkay Street in Tondo around 330 am.

When Santos and the responding officers arrived, car thieves fired against them as they made their escape. Santos was hit in the exchange.

Authorities are hunting down the suspects.
