Sure, there’s a thin line between love and hate, but this is definitely too much.

“Police Officer 2 Cesar Tolentino, 35, a member of the Caloocan police Special Reaction Unit, shot his live-in girlfriend, a businesswoman named Jennifer Ferreras, 40, in the genitals during an argument inside their house in Maypajo, Caloocan City on Sunday afternoon, Jan 19,” reports Rey Galupo in The Philippine Star.

Ferreras is now under observation at the Chinese General Hospital.

So, what the hell happened?

The report said that around 5pm that day, Tolentino confronted Ferreras about something that reportedly made him jealous. It’s believed that Ferreras tried to run away when Tolentino drew his .45 caliber pistol, which was his service firearm. She ended up getting shot nevertheless.

Tolentino immediately surrendered to the police. Hopefully, Ferreras comes to her senses and leaves him for good.
