One of them has got to go elsewhere.

“Police Officer 3 Erickson Fernandez filed a complaint against his superior, Pedro Gil precinct commander Senior Inspector Robert Bunayog with the Manila Police District (MPD) Station 5 and the MPD’s general assignment section because the latter scolded him when he tried to clarify an order for him to remove street vendors from a portion of Pedro Gil Street,” reports Rainier Allan Ronda in The Philippine Star.

Fernandez claimed that while he was able to comply with the order to turn away the vendors. However, when he mentioned that there were a number of women wearing red shirts, Bunayog cursed at him and told to leave the service and remove his uniform.

According to the report, “to avoid a confrontation, Fernandez said he decided to leave and simply file a complaint against Bunayog.”

Now, Bunayog has reportedly threatened to file a complaint against Fernandez for insubordination.
