“Construction worker Rene Solasco, 37, died on Monday, August 25, after he accidentally fell from the 5th floor of a construction site in Pasig City,” reports Francis T. Wakefield in Tempo.
According to the Pasig City Police, Solasco was brought to Rizal Medical Center (RMC) but was declared dead on arrival.
The report noted: “Investigation showed that Solasco was on the 5th floor of The Grove Project Site on C-5 Road, Brgy. Ugong, Pasig City, supervising repair works when he accidentally lost balance and fell to the ground at about 12:45pm.”
Solasco was the lead man of MEC Millenium Erectors Corporation and a resident of Narra St., Barangay Tunasan, Muntinlupa City.
