Speaking at a press conference, the former editor of the official publication of Iglesia ni Cristo, Isaias Samson Jr., confirmed that the missing ministers of INC were, in fact, abducted.
But that’s not all. According to Samson, the military and the police were involved in the said abduction as well as the detention of at least 10 INC members.

According to another Inquirer report, “one of the ministers expelled from Iglesia in Cristo (INC) has been arrested and detained in a police station in Dasmariñas city.”
That member is Lowell Robasa Menorca II, who was arrested in the morning of July 17 along Aguinaldo Highway “after he reportedly threatened two men with a live grenade,” notes the PDI report.
According to expelled INC member Roel Rosal, at least 10 ministers were placed on house arrest inside a building at the INC compound in Tandang Sora, Quezon City.
Meanwhile on early Thursday evening, members of the church have began to gather outside the Quezon City house of INC Executive Minister Eduardo Manalo’s house to show their support.
