COMELEC fires up voter registration campaign

They seem to be quite excited about making more people vote.

“The Commission on Elections (COMELEC) plans to bring the registration process to malls, churches, and other public places so that Filipinos will no longer have a reason not to participate in the elections,” reports ABS-CBNnews.com.

The report noted that since “the main challeng of the poll body is the registration of all eligible voters,” then accessibility should be prioritized.

Voter registration begins Tuesday, May 6, and ends on October 31, 2015.
