College student stabbed dead for reasons still unknown

Were they high or something?

“Jacinto Noel Genuino, 20, an Electronic Communications Engineering student from Far Eastern University (FEU), was walking together with a friend along Don Quijote corner España Boulevard when they bumped into two men identified as Greg Dan Balais and Eric Rivera,” reports ABS-CBNnews.com.

Police later found out that Balais, 21, is a former student of FEU while Rivera, 20, is a student of University of Santo Tomas (UST).

Anyway, for reasons that are still unknown, the students started fighting. Balais ended up stabbing Genuino in his rib cage and back. The latter was rushed to the UST Hospital, where he eventually died.

Balais and Rivera were immediately arrested by the police. The report didn’t mention the name of Genuino’s friend.
