While coach Yeng Guiao’s Elasto Painters won game 6 101-93, he had some pretty interesting things to say about Talk ‘N Texters import Ivan Johnson.
Johnson figured in a lot of near skirmishes that marked Sunday’s game 6.
“Late in the fourth quarter, Johnson’s palm hit the face of ROS guard Paul Lee, but was only given a regular foul,” notes ABS-CBNnews.com.
During game 3, his elbow hit Paul Lee, which resulted in Lee losing his front tooth.
“‘Yun bang siko niya kay Paul, meron bang naniniwala na hindi sadya ‘yun?” the outspoken coach points out.
The ABS-CBN report continues: “the import also went after Rain or Shine guard Chris Tiu, when the latter broke up a Talk ‘N Text fastbreak.”
“Hinabol niya si Chris after Chris tried to steal the ball,” Guiao continues. “Why wasn’t he even warned? Ano nangyayari? Kalokohan.”
Of Johnson, Guiao said: “I think he’s mentally unstable but that should help us.”
During game one, Johnson bumped Guiao on the sidelines, for which PBA fined him P150,000.
