City Hall breaks up prostitution service run from a motel room in Manila

Authorities are looking for an alleged pimp who they believe had been running a prostitution service from a motel room in Manila since November.

The Manila Social Welfare Office raided the motel room, where the suspect and his wife allegedly housed minors for their customers, radio DZMM reports. The suspect escaped and his wife has denied the accusation.

The couple’s alleged victims have filed complaints at city hall and are undergoing stress debriefing.

The suspect faces a charge of violating the Anti-Trafficking in Persons Act. Authorities are also investigating the motel’s employees.
