A 24-year-old woman whose partner was shot dead in Sta. Ana, Manila on June 4 still wants to push through with her scheduled church wedding – even if the groom will be inside a coffin.
According to the Philippine Star, Marivic Clemente will be pushing through with her dream wedding on the second week of June and is just waiting for permission from the Sta. Ana parish priest.
Clemente’s partner of five years and father of her two children, Maverick Querrer, 29, was shot by members of the Sigue-Sigue Sputnik gang on June 1 and expired three days later at the Sta. Ana Hospital. He was a janitor at the Our Lady of Grace Parish Church in Caloocan City.
