Chris Tiu on rumored retirement from PBA

Says Chris Tiu, he only really planned to play in the PBA for one contract period.

“But I’m reconsidering because I never thought I would enjoy playing basketball this much in this level,” said Tiu.

Like a seasoned player however, Tiu passes the ball onto RoS management: “You have to ask (Rain or Shine management) if they are still interested to renew my contract. I cannot just assume that they will keep me. We have not spoken yet.”

“Tiu also elaborated the reasons of him changing his initial plans of retiring at the end of his rookie contract with the Elasto Painters, which was good for three years,” reports Randolph B. Leongson on Inquirer.net.

Among them are his fun teams, easy-to-deal-with management, Coach Yeng Guiao’s basketball philosphy, and the fans, of course.
