A Philippine Air Force Sokol helicopter carrying a congressperson and 11 others crash-landed this afternoon at a military reservation camp in Crow Valley, Tarlac.

ABS-CBN News reported that the incident happened at 2pm. Bombo Radyo stated that the helicopter was on its way to a military event in the area.

The Philippine Air Force told CNN Philippines that 12 people, including Cooperative NATCCO Network Party (COOP-NATCCO) Representative Anthony Bravo, were aboard the chopper. Bravo and the other passengers only sustained minor injuries.

However, the pilot sustained head injuries while a crew member broke an arm, Rappler stated.

They were rushed to the Camp Aquino Station Hospital in Tarlac City.

The Philippine Daily Inquirer reported that among those who were aboard the chopper were Baltazar Reyes; Col. Arthur Baybayan, sergeant-at-arms of the Commission on Appointments; Daisy De Lima; Romeo V. Almonte; 1st Lt. Melvin Betia; and Edilberto M. Mandap.

Baybayan told Inquirer that the helicopter was supposed to land on the helipad but instead, it crashed into a cliff.

Authorities are still investigating the incident.
