“On Friday, August 8, Jollibee Foods Corp. revealed that 72 stores in Metro Manila and nearby cities have been temporarily closed over the lack of popular menu items at its outlets,” reports Miguel Camus in Philippine Daily Inquirer.
The report explained that “Jollibee, in a stock exchange filing Friday, apologized as it sought to allay angry customers and calm worried investors.”

However, the company maintains that they are not experiencing asupply shortage and that the disruption “was related to the migration to a new IT system at the start of the month.”
Jollibee said that the issue will be resolved “in the next few days.”
That’s an eternity to those rabid ChickenJoy addicts.
