This will lift a lot of spirits, too.
“On Wednesday, June 11, the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) on Wednesday formally lifted the moratorium on the opening of undergraduate and graduate programs in business administration (BA), hotel and restaurant management (HRM) and information technology (IT) effective academic year 2015-2016,” reports Ina Hernando Malipot in Manila Bulletin.
According to CHED, the major considerations for the move include “continuous recruitment and hiring of graduates/professionals in the above-mentioned programs by the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) sector, tourism and IT industries, both local and abroad.”
