Cebu Pacific plane attacked by birds!

The birds were angry.

“An Airbus 319 of Cebu Pacific flight 5J 771 was struck by birds before landing at Pagadian Airport in Zamboanga del Sur,” reports Raoul Esperas on ABS-CBNnews.com.

According to the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines, the plane “was on final approach when the bird strike happened.”

Fortunately, the plane, which had 121 passengers on board, landed safely.

The report revealed that “the plane is still grounded at Pagadian Airport while undergoing a maintenance check.” Thus, its return flight to Manila has been cancelled pending the result of the safety and maintenance checks.
