We’re sure a lot of people will have doubts about this though.
“Citing FlightView’s global on-time performance, Cebu Pacific said it posted 81.7 percent on time arrival rating for 9,487 flights it operated last June 2014,” reports Darwin G Amojelar on InterAksyon.com.
The report explained that FlightView is “a recognized provider of real-time global flight and airport information services, which measures on-time performance (OTP) of airlines based on flights arriving within 15 minutes of schedule.”
Cebu Pacific is the only Philippine carrier to rank within the top 100 of airlines listed in the report. Out of the 313 airlines in the report, Cebu Pacific was ranked No. 99.
The report further revealed: “The estimate average OTP in June 2014 for Asia-Pacific carriers was 68.98 percent. North American carriers’ OTP was estimated at 73.31 percent, while major and regional European carriers achieved a 79.88 percent average OTP.”
