Look, breakups suck. Anyone who has been through one knows the struggle of having to show up to work the next day and pretending everything is fine when you’re grieving inside.

To mark the month of love that is February, a hotel in Cebu announced that it was providing five days of paid leave benefits to employees nursing a broken heart.

Quoting a popular breakup song from singer Moira dela Torre, the hotel adds, “[Not to worry], because Cebu Century Plaza Hotel provides [five] breakup leaves to our employees who are heartbroken or were left behind. That’s how we value our employees, unlike your ex,” it adds in jest.

The breakup leave also comes with a facial beauty package, which includes a facial and a body scrub, with the hotel’s partner clinic, Skin 911, according to a report by GMA News Online.

And in case you’re wondering, employees can have another round of five paid breakup leaves in a year, provided the breakup was with a different person — in case you get any ideas.

Breakup leaves are not transferable to cash.
