Cebu crime: Dead man stuffed inside a bag

You’d think this only happens in movies.

“The decomposing body of a man was found inside a traveling bag in Barangay Tabunan, Cebu City on Tuesday morning, May 20,” reports ABS-CBN News Central Visayas correspondent Edgar Escalante on ABS-CBNnews.com.

A resident in the area, Redelina Reyes, 74 was led to the bag by the strong foul odor. She alerted the police when she saw the bag.

The report noted: “Homicide investigators who responded to the alarm said the body was wrapped with a blanket, a sack and then with a garbage plastic bag. The man was estimated to be 5’7″ tall and had a pair of black shorts on and was shirtless.”

The police also found five sachets believed to be shabu and three tin foils inside the pocket of the man’s shorts.

The man bore stab wounds to his throat and abdomen. He remains unidentified.
