An off-duty policeman in Cebu City nabbed a Nigerian national who accosted him the men’s room of Ayala Center Mall and had attempted to force him to perform oral sex.

“Inspector Eugene Teves, 52, related that he went inside the toilet to urinate. Nigerian Kognili Isial, 30, also went inside the men’s room shorty after he did,” reports Mars W. Mosqueda, Jr. in Tempo.

Teves said that he and Isial were urinating beside each other when the latter suddenly grabbed his head and pushed his face towards his open jeans.

The report noted: “Teves scrambled to free his head from the hands of Isial and introduced himself as a police officer, prompting the foreigner to rush out of the toilet. Teves chased Isial and asked the mall’s security personnel to arrest the latter.”

As such, Isial is now detained at the jail of the Mabolo Police Station.

The report revealed that “Police Regional Office (PRO) 7 director Prudencio Tom Bañas said he was angered by the report that a foreigner made such an act to a police officer so he has ordered the filing of charges against Isial.”
