Mark Caguioa of the 2016 Philippine Basketball Association Governors’ Cup winning team Ginebra, seems to be winning in life too…in the love department, in particular.
The 36-year-old basketball player proposed to his long-time Fil-Australian girlfriend Lauren Hudson just minutes after his team’s thrilling 91-88 victory over Meralco.
HIs teammates were there to show their support, of course.
They formed a moshpit and cheered as Caguioa dropped on one knee and popped the question.
Hudson, who was wearing a Ginebra jersey and carrying a blown-up poster of Caguioa’s face, said yes.
“We’ve been together for 12 years, and this was the right time. She’s been there since 2004 and siya nagpapalakas sa akin, I wanna thank her, she’s been through ups and downs and I love her,” Caguioa was quoted as saying in report by Philippine Daily Inquirer.
Caguioa said that his teammate Jayjay Helterbrand will be his best man.
