Caught on CCTV: QC family’s male helper hurts baby

It’s easy to say you want kids, but it’s scary to think what other people might do to them when you’re not around.

A woman identified only as “Angelyca” was both shocked and enraged when she found out that the male helper she had hired was hurting her youngest child, a baby who appears to be just a few months old.

According to Angelyca, the male helper named Caloy had only been working for them for two weeks. On Mon, Apr 11, Angelyca stepped out of the house because she had to go to her mother’s office.

While she was gone, the male helper was left with her youngest child.

The CCTV footage shows that Caloy pinched the baby and then also pulled his hair. When the baby cried, Caloy resorted to tossing him up in the air.

Obviously, Caloy didn’t know that the CCTV camera near the home’s kitchen area could actually be controlled through an app on Angelyca’s phone.

Angelyca quickly confronted Caloy when she got home and brought him to the barangay hall. However, Caloy then disclosed that he was younger than 18 years old. At this point, barangay officials could only advise Angelyca to drop her complaint, as minors cannot be charged under the law.

The ABS-CBN News report didn’t say if Angelyca has already fired Caloy.
