CCTV footage taken last Sat, Apr 16, along Tayuman Street in Sta. Cruz, Manila shows a couple arguing in the middle of the street.
Barangay official ran to where the couple was when the man repeatedly hit the woman. However, it was the woman herself who reportedly told the barangay officials to just leave them alone.
So, when the man got back on his motorcycle, the woman rode in tandem with him. However, before they sped away, the man reportedly threatened the barangay officials, “Babalikan ko kayo (I’ll come back for you)!”
Barangay officials had no choice but to stand back and let the couple go.
Well, we hope that woman is OK.
