A Cathay Pacific flight at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3 was delayed for over seven hours on Thu, Sep 3, due to a technical problem.

Flight CX 904 was scheduled to depart for Hong Kong 5:20am, but hundreds of passengers were dismayed after ground staff of Cathay Pacific announced over the public address system at Gate 111 that their flight was delayed and would depart at 12:30pm.

According to Rose Lara, one of the affected passengers of the Airbus 330 plane, the announcement was made 30 minutes before their scheduled departure and no other instruction was given as to what they should do in the next seven hours.

ABS-CBN lNews earned that some of the passengers were accommodated in other airlines, but the problem of transferring the passengers from Terminal 3 to Terminal 2 arose when the airline could not produce a transport vehicle.

It was also learned that the Cathay Pacific cited technical problem as the cause of the delay.
