The usual route of going to bars or trying out Tinder is apparently not good enough, so Catch 88 decided to solve the problem for hot catches by taking the initiative to create a community that will, as one of the founders said, “elevate the Manila experience.”
Understanding the frustration of not meeting anyone eligible in Manila, Deanna Rubiano and her partner Anku Chibb decided to establish a new, members-only Social Hub for mingling and dating.
There would only be 100 founding members, and the applicants would be currated based on interviews. Rubiano empasized that the members should be intellectuals and should have good jobs.
“You have to be good-looking. You have to pass our good-looking kind of like screen test,” Rubiano said in an interview with GMA News.
The club is very discreet, and the profile of the members are confidential, so the world won’t know that the members are “searching”.
Rubiano and Chibb want to complete the list of the first 100 members by April. They said that they will personally select the potential members in networking events and socials.
