A would-be car thief was shot to death this week in Caloocan after his intended victim pulled out a Cal.45 pistol.
According to a Pilipino Star Ngayon report, Feliciano Hormelija Jr of Novaliches was in Camarin in Caloocan when two robbers on a motorcycle rode up to his car. They got off the motorcycle and declared a holdup. One of them, Romnick Borja, allegedly even pulled the trigger on his Cal.38.
Unfortunately for him, the gun jammed, giving Hormelija an opportunity to draw his own gun and fire. Borja was delared dead on arrival at the East Avenue Medical Center. His companion was able to escape.
Hormelija has surrendered to police.
