Police are using car keys found on a man who jumped in front of a Metro Rail Transit train at the Guadalupe station on Wednesday morning to find out who he was.
Crime scene investigators found no IDs on the man but did find the keys. “A key for a Hyundai car was found in his pocket. The Makati Police is now searching the streets of Guadalupe for a Hyundai car that could belong to the victim and lead to his identification,” MRT-3 general manager Al Vitangcol III said in a Philippine Star report.
Police have confirmed that the man, who was dragged by the train for around 30 meters, was not pushed onto the tracks. Vitangcol said he died instantly.
