Car hits post and center island as it tries to get away from another accident

You have to wonder just how many crazy drivers are out there.

“In the early hours of Friday, August 22, seven people were injured when a car driven by a man named Dominic Supan crashed into the center island along Quezon Avenue, as it allegedly tried to escape responsibility for another accident on the same road,” reports Kori Quintos on ABS-CBNnews.com.

The report noted: “Supan’s passengers were all injured after the vehicle rolled over several times before hitting a post on the center island along Barangay Dona Josefa.”

Supan later claimed that he “could not remember anything about the accident” because he was “depressed.”

The report explained that “before Supan’s car hit the post, it allegedly dragged a motorcycle along Quezon Avenue, injuring its driver Alvin Caitor and his passenger Kenneth De Leon.” Caitor and De Leon were on their way home from work.

Barangay official Joymar Rivera said that it seemed that Supan had really been trying to get away from the injured motorcycle riders.

The report added that “the authorities are still investigating the accident to determine if Supan was drunk while driving and if it was really his car that hit the motorcycle.”
