“A 35-year-old woman suffering from cancer died while she was in a plane that arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) from Japan on Sunday afternoon, February 22,” reports Rudy Santos in The Philippine Star.
The woman was identified as Loida Barrantes Miyaoka. She was slumped in the last row of seats on Jetstar Flight 3K764 from Osaka.
The report revealed that “Miyaoka had gone to Japan for cancer treatment.” The airline then turned over Miyaoka remains to her sister.
