Camarines Norte Governor Edgardo Tallado apologizes for ‘sex photos’

On Monday, October 27, during his office’s flag ceremony, Camarines Norte Governor Edgardo Tallado asked the public to forgive him for having “sex photos” leaked online.

According to the governor’s estranged wife, Josie, the photos show her husband and his latest alleged mistress. “She’s the one that he’s so crazy about right now,” she had said in Filipino in earlier interviews.

In his apology speech, Tallado said, “Kung ako po ay nagkamali, tao lang po ako. May kahinaan din po ako. Ito po ay sana unawain nating lahat (If I made a mistake, I am only human. I have my weaknesses. I hope everyone understands this).”

However, reporters noted that Tallado didn’t exactly say sorry for being unfaithful to his wife.

“Instead, Tallado said he still wants to fix his marriage with Josie. He also apologized to the woman who was captured in the leaked photos kissing him,” reports ABS-CBNnews.com.

The governor said that he blames his so-called “political rivals” for spreading the photos.

His current statement contradicts his wife’s testimony.

She had revealed that she left their home after he accused her of leaking the sex photos. She claimed that he had threatened to hurt her and her aide, Darlene Francisco, because they supposedly leaked the photos.
