Now, this is something we didn’t expect to hear.
“Unlike other public schools with too many students and not enough space, NHC High School in Tala, Caloocan has all the required facilities, but it only has a student population of 810 this school year, 200 students less than last year’s population,” reports dzMM correspondent Jake Morales on ABS-CBNnews.com.
According to NHC High School principal Irene Ocol, it may be because of “families transferring nearer to the parents’ workplaces.”
Thus, Ocol appealed to residents near the area to consider enrolling their children to NHC High School, which has complete facilities and enough teachers. The school is also offering a free open high school program for adults 18 years old and above.
