Caloocan hotel busted for being used as drug, sex den

How can it still be called a “hotel” after this? To begin with, its business permit expired way back in 2007.

“On Tuesday, Feb 26, the Caloocan Police’s Anti-Illegal Drugs Group raided the Venus Hotel located at Second Avenue, which has allegedly been transformed into a prostitution and drug den,” reports ABS-CBN News correspondent Carolyn Bonquin on ABS-CBNnews.com.

Three people were arrested during the raid—a bellboy, a customer and a suspected drug dealer.

The customer, who was identified as John, confirmed that people like him pay the hotel for “extra services,” which include a paid sex worker and some drugs. His exact words were, “Magbabayad lang, sila na ang bahala sa babae (We pay and they take care of looking for the sex worker).”

Meanwhile, as expected, the owner of the hotel denied knowing about the illegal activities.
