Caloocan City cancels classes due to rain

Heavy rains prompted Caloocan City to suspend classes in  public schools since Wednesday morning.
 
The announcment was made over TV, radio, and over Twitter through the #walang pasok hashtag.
 
Although there are no cyclones in the Philippine Area of Responsibility, the inter-tropical convergence zone is affecting Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao,  the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said.
 
Light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms are expected.
