Caloocan barangay chairman shot dead by gunmen on motorcycles

It hasn’t stopped.

“On Monday, March 3, Barangay Chairman Alejandro Bonifacio of Barangay 163 was on his way to the barangay hall when he was ambushed at about 8:30am by two still unidentified motorcycle-riding armed men,” reports Ed Mahilum on Manila Bulletin Online.

According to witnesses, Bonifacio was already in his vehicle with his driver when two men on board a motorcycle fired at them three times. Bonifacio was rushed to the Manila Central University (MCU) Hospital for treatment but he subsequently died.

The investigation is still ongoing.
